I’ve combined 3 songs in this week’s link. Your job is to figure out the connection.
To make it easier, I’ll give hints from time to time (if needed).
Your job it to head over to the Enter Passwords page and type in the password. Also, the answer should be typed in ALL CAPS!

Hey guys… If you get a second, take a look at www.collegekidapp.com. These guys took on the task of creating an app for the iPhone over their summer break. They succeeded!
They actually have 3 apps that you can take a look at if you have an iPhone, but their big one is probably BatteryGo!
Take a look when you get a chance!
Okay. So, it’s been a rough week around here. I had a death in the family and really wanted to get to this sooner. I didn’t.
Either way, they were done. I finished the scores a week ago, but ran out of time to put them online.
After a long wait, here they are…
1st Place: 3 Seconds
2nd Place: 2.5 Seconds
3rd Place: 2 Seconds
All Other Finishers: 1 Second
Now, here’s how the finale is going to work…
It’s called ‘The Face Off.’
The 4 teams with the most accrued time will face off in a single-elimination tournament. 1 plays 4. 2 plays 3. The winners will play each other.
Each team will have their accrued time plus 30 seconds placed on their clock. (ex: Don’t Stop Me Now would have 1:02 on the clock as of right now.) They will also have 3 of their players.
We’ll alternate songs between teams starting with the lower seed. Once we hear the song start playing, the clock for that team will start. Once they give me a title, it will stop. Play will pass to the other team and another song will play. Their clock will start.
We’ll repeat the process until one team’s clock hits zero. They are out.
In the event that a team doesn’t know a song, there will be a 15-second time limit. Once 15 seconds have expired, we’ll move on to the next song and team.
There’s also one pass allowed per team (per round). This will pass the current song to the other team. They can, if they have a pass left, pass it right back. The 15-second time limit starts at the point of the pass or pass back.
The winning team from the 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3 rounds will bank their time for the final championship round. That time will also get a 30 second pad.
One side note: The songs have all been played in the game before. There are 100 total songs from different decades and they have been randomly shuffled by my music program.
Make sense? God, I hope so. Ha.
I’ll see everyone tonight. I’m looking forward to it.
Here’s your RSVP for Wednesday.
10 points if you stop by here and leave your team name.
We start at 8:30. Be there by 8:00 please.
Similar to what we did in the game last week, I’ve combined 3 songs in this week’s link. Your job is to figure out the connection. I think it’s pretty easy, but we’ll see.

Clue: One of the songs is a TV theme.
I got nostalgic over the weekend and decided to take a look back at my brief time at B937. I was part of a contest called Summer Job Wannabe (or something like that) when the station abruptly ended on June 30, 2004.
Basically, people would vote and the person with the most votes would get a summer airshift on B937 along with a bunch of CDs. Oh, they were also supposed to interview Jessica Simpson at the Summer Stretch concert. It was down to 3 finalists when the station flipped.
Here’s my aircheck from my 3-hour audition on B937 (okay, yes, it’ll always be B94, but back then they decided they would change the 94 to 937 because everything was digital… that worked out well.)

Just figured I’d share this with you! Keep in mind that this is only the second time I was on the radio. The first was an hour-long audition the week before. I’ve grown a lot since then, I think!
How about some tea with the Queen?
Here’s your RSVP for this week.
I’ll give you 10 points if you’re there by 8 PM and in your comment you list 5 bands/artists from across the pond. (We’re talking a British Invasion.)
If you mention The Beatles, you’ll only get 5 points!
Remember, the game will start promptly at 8:30 PM this week due to the Penguins game.
See you there!
Your job is to figure out the song… Sounds easy, right? Wrong.
I’ve taken the liberty of screwing with it.
To make it easier, I’ll give hints from time to time. Your job it to head over to the Enter Passwords page and type in the password. Also, the answer should be typed in ALL CAPS!

You know I can’t make anything easy.
To get 10 bonus points for the game, leave a comment with your name and 5 Canadian singers / bands because the U.S. beat Canada tonight.
To get your points, you must be there by 8:00 PM.
It’s an 8:30 PM start.
I still need to figure out what we’re doing next week with the Pens playing at 9:30 PM. I’ll let you know.
