Impossible Songs for September 24th

Notice the title of this post?  It says ‘Impossible SONGS’… yes, plural.

To earn the ‘Song Swapper’ for this week, you’ll have to give the title and artists for all three ‘Impossible Songs’ for this week.  To get the ‘Song Swapper,’ you’ll have to leave the answers as a comment on this post.  Make sure you give BOTH the title and artist for ALL 3 SONGS!  You will also need to leave your team name, too!

Here they are…  Also worth noting is the fact that these songs are backwards.  The first two are at normal pitch and speed, but to add to the challenge, I’ve made the 3rd song a bit ‘squirrelly.’  Read on for the songs and a hint…

Song Swapper and Updated Scores

It looks like the ‘Song Swapper’ may be here to stay.  We’ll have to see how it works with more teams.  That, by the way, really needs to happen.  I don’t know why it’s been slow.

Anyways, scores after 3 weeks of season 4 have been updated.  Click on the scores tab to get the details.

And no… this isn’t the impossible song post.  That’ll be coming later!  (The question is… later tonight, later tomorrow, or later this week or next week?  Hmmm.)

Good luck!

Song Swapping and an Impossible Song

Well, it’s been 3 weeks with the second chance chips and I’ve decided that they don’t get a second chance.  They’re done!  Don’t worry, though.  I’ve thought of something else to take their place.  It’s called the ‘Song Swapper.’

The ‘Song Swapper’ (by the way, what do you think of the name?  leave comments below) is a chip you can play when you want a new song.  It can only be used once per round and there’s only one of them in the game.  Remember, there’s only one and you can earn it tonight by giving me the title and artist of this Impossible Song for the week (leave it in the comments section)…

That team will get the ‘Song Swapper’ first.  If they decide to use it, we’ll give it out to another team after that decade is done.  I’m not 100% sure how I’m going to give it away again, but I think it might involve that wheel that we see all the time at NPC and the teams in last place.

If a team hangs on to the ‘Song Swapper’ for the entire game, they’ll pick up a 10 point bonus.  That will be applied BEFORE ‘The Comeback’ round.

One final note… the game starts at 9:30 PM again tonight and the scores through 2 weeks of season 4 are updated!  See you tonight at NPC!

And one more… we will likely have prizes to give away again before the game, so get there early for your chance to win!

September 10th… Championship Point Opportunity

Since it’s going to be the 10th of the month, I’ve decided to bring back the ‘Bring 10 or more people’ challenge.  All you have to do is have 10 people on your team next week.  The key is… they have to be there when I count players.  This could be at the beginning, middle, or end of the game.

Since this revolves around the number 10, we’ll make it worth 10 championship points!

Good luck and see you for the game on Wednesday.  Remember, the game STARTS at 9:30 PM.  That means you should be there by 9:00 PM.

Feedback Needed…

This is one of the most important posts on here right now because it deals with the time of the game.  For years, we’ve been aiming to start the game between 10:00 and 10:15 PM.  I know it’s been later sometimes, but those were the goals.

The North Park Clubhouse would like us to start earlier to accomodate the early-morning workers.  The thought is that more people will play if the game ends between 11:00 PM and 11:30 PM instead of around midnight.

Either way works for me… but we need to know what works for you.  Sound off below and let us know what time you’d like to see the game start.  Keep in mind, the game normally lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours.

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Reminder… New Times Tonight!

Hey gang… I just wanted to post a reminder about tonight.  The goal is to have the game started at 9:30 PM and have it all wrapped up by 11:30 PM.

Why are we doing this?  Well, the simple answer is to let people who work early in the morning enjoy the game.

Hope to see you there.
