If this works, I’ll be using this to accept answers for the bonus rounds instead of running your sheets up to the front.  We’ll hopefully save some trees.

Here’s what I’m going to do now.

Each week, you need to do your best to remember the game.  I’ll ask you a question about it the following Monday.  By getting that question right and putting the answer in the ENTER PASSWORDS page, I’ll tell you a clue as to which number you need to stay away from in the Radio Roulette round.

This will give a distinct advantage without giving bonus points away.  That’ll make the game look more fair for the teams that don’t know about the website while still giving you guys a bit of an advantage.  So instead of giving you guys bonus points, I’ll just save you from hitting the -10 landmine.

Okay… for this week, we’re looking for a number.

Once you know the answer, head over to the ENTER PASSWORDS page and type it in.  The first 2 teams get a 10 point bonus.  Everyone else is playing for 5 points.

Here goes:

Take the number of singers in Destiny’s Child before the video premiere for ‘Say My Name’ and add the age indicated by a song by a band called Old 97s.  Double the number and subtract the loneliest number.  Now, divide that by the number of ‘days.’  No… absolutely not the number of days in the week but the musical ‘days.’  Now, multiply that by the famous ‘pop song’ number associated with a band known for their Rapid Eye Movements.  Now, to get the last digit back to zero, subtract the ‘vinyl’ number that makes the most sense.  That’s it!

Go type your number in and see if you’re right.

5 points can mean the different between first place and second place or the difference between worst and not worst.  It won’t however, help you grill your bratwurst.  (Lame, I know.)

Here are your clues.  I’ll add more if nobody gets it:

1. The Beach Boys sang about this and now there’s another song about it.  It’s perfect for summertime, too.  It’s just swell.

2. The artist of the song is a musical instrument that gets banged.

3. They shout the name of a political figure a bunch of times during the song.  You need to enter that name as your password.

4. What they shout might not actually be the name of the person but it sure as heck sounds like it.  Use your imagination if you don’t get it right away.
